A South Pacific holiday to the Cook Islands keeps becoming more appealing on price with airlines introducing seat sales in various months throughout the year including the school holidays!

Visit Rarotonga the gateway to the Cook Islands from $495pp return including taxes on Air New Zealand’s direct service ex Sydney.  This fare price is valid for travel from 28 August to 30 October which takes in the September / October school holiday period.  For anyone who is looking at travel in the short term this fare is also valid from 28 Feb to 27 March.

The fare increases to $555 for travel from 23 Jul to 21 Aug and 5 Nov to 13 December, yet it’s still close to half the price of a normal direct service flight.

Premium economy fares start from $819pp return and business from $1319 return for travel periods of 28 Feb to 27 March, 28 Aug to 30 Oct again including the school holidays, plus 23 July to 21 Aug and 5 Nov to 13 Dec.

Air New Zealand’s direct service to the Cook Islands departs Sydney weekly on Friday evenings and returns on a Friday evening, allowing for a six night holiday on the Cook Islands.  Guests cross the international date line when flying to the Cook Islands, seeing them arrive on the day they leave Australia and lose a day on the return from Rarotonga.
