Casablanca receives first new 787 9 Dreamliner of Royal Air Maroc
The first 787-9 Dreamliner of Royal Air Maroc has landed in Casablanca. The aircraft was delivered on December 11, 2018 in Seattle, Washington.
Mr Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of the national airline travelled with several other RAM officials and crew for the transfer to Morocco.
To celebrate the Dreamliner’s reception, Royal Air Maroc has unveiled a special livery, which showcases contemporary Moroccan culture.
There is also a new interior design to enhance the flight experience.
Business class passengers will have three seating options that can be converted into flatbeds or privacy seats.
Other benefits that all travelers on board will appreciate are the Dreamliner’s large portholes, lower cabin altitude and turbulence reduction technology.
With this new aircraft, which is larger and has a greater range, RAM will also be able to accommodate around 30 additional passengers (302 in total) over a greater distance of up to 14,140 km.
