How long with MTA? Two years
What did you do before you joined MTA? Full time Mum for many years then worked in the motor industry.
Do you have a specialised area in travel? I love working on detailed itineraries and seeking out amazing accommodation.
What is the most unusual (or interesting) location you have worked as an MTA Mobile Travel Agent? In the backseat of my brother-in-law’s car but I can work from anywhere in the world, from snow chalets to cruise ships.
What is the weirdest request you have had from a client? People wanting great holidays for next to nothing.
If you hadn’t become an MTA Mobile Travel Agent, what other career path would you have taken? I had thoughts of becoming a social worker as I’ve spent many years volunteering as a family support worker.
What’s one of your biggest personal achievements? Changing my career at almost 50 years of age.
Describe your perfect holiday. Skiing but what holiday isn’t perfect!
if you had a time machine where would you travel to and why? Back to when I was raising my children. It goes so quickly.
If you could choose one, what would your super power be? Make sure all children were well loved!
What three things do you always take with you when travelling? My husband, my kindle and frequent flyer nasal spray (a non-medicated saline solution that has been specifically formulated to support health while travelling).
