Gina Dounis celebrates 20 years service at AFTA
This December, AFTA recognises Gina Dounis who celebrates 20 years of service within the travel industry as an invaluable member of AFTA.
Gina has held many positions throughout her time at AFTA and 2017 is no different. Gina will start the new year with a promotion to AFTA’s Compliance and Membership Supervisor.
Over the duration of her employment, Gina has played an integral role in servicing the travel agent community. Even today, Gina’s role encompasses Secretary for the Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO).
“AFTA has witnessed many changes over the past 20 years and Gina has been an invaluable member of the AFTA family for the last two decades. Gina is such a dedicated and committed member of the travel industry and I know many are proud to call her a friend,” said Westbury.
“Gina has agreed to take on a supervisory role within the Compliance and Membership team at AFTA. Her experience and knowledge of the industry is exceptional,” added Westbury.
“On top of all of this, yesterday (19th December) was Gina’s birthday, so from all of us at AFTA, we wish Gina a very happy birthday!” concluded Westbury.
