The leading apartment hotel operator will add a further 182 rooms to the local market in 2017, with two more new properties in the WA pipeline.

The City of Fremantle is currently undergoing its largest development in 28 years, to transform land in front of Fremantle Harbour and the Swan River into one of the biggest waterfront developments Perth has ever seen. 16,000sqm of retail space and 30,000sqm of high quality office space will be added within the city centre, further establishing Fremantle as a hive for both tourism and business in Western Australia.

“I am delighted to open the doors of Quest Fremantle, I believe the location is ideal for ensuring success, positioned in the heart of Fremantle, one of Western Australia’s most popular tourist destinations and one of Lonely Planet’s 2016 top 10 cities.

“The existing 1920’s heritage façade is integrated with the new building and represents Fremantle’s capacity to combine the old with the new; the building holds significant heritage value and has now been repurposed to provide accommodation to both business and leisure travellers within the newly developed area,” said Mr Newbold.

The pipeline of 7 new property openings in the coming years across Australia, shows more substantial growth for Quest.
